A curated marketplace for boats

Exceptional boats deserve a better marketplace.

Curated wake boat auctions. Detailed listings, organized with AI and reviewed by Ballast. Transparent bidding. A better way to buy and sell.

Live auctions

Nothing live right now

No auctions are live right now

There's nothing to bid on at the moment, and we can't say when the next boat will be listed. Here's what you can do in the meantime.

Get an email when a boat you want goes live

Choose a make, and a model and years if you like. When a matching auction goes live, we email you: one email per boat, with a link to stop whenever you like.

Alerts are free. They need a Ballast account with a confirmed email address, and nothing more: no payment and no ID check. (Signing up also asks for a phone number to finish joining the community; alerts only need the email.)

We can't say when a matching boat will be listed, or whether one will be.

The Ballast standard

We believe knowing more means buying better.

Most listings give you a price and a few photos. Ballast listings follow one structure — specs, sorted photos, disclosed defects — so you can compare like with like. The details are the seller's, and a Ballast administrator reviews every listing before its auction goes live.

Photos, sorted by what they show

Exterior, interior, engine and hours, surf setup, electronics, trailer, service history — grouped so you can find what matters, not scroll through fifty random shots.

Defects disclosed, not buried

Known issues are called out in their own section, up front, instead of cropped out of frame. They are the seller's disclosure: Ballast doesn't inspect boats.

Facts, organized into one spec sheet

AI helps turn the seller's notes, answers and any research they share into one consistent spec sheet — not a wall of text to dig through. It only suggests: the seller confirms each fact before it's shown, and AI doesn't verify anything about a boat.

A Ballast administrator reviews every listing before its auction can go live. They can approve it, ask the seller for changes, or decline it. A review is not an inspection, and Ballast doesn't certify a boat's title, condition, engine hours or mechanical integrity.
